More jobs

Hi! Pinky here!

Today I have decided to choose a Veterinarian Medicine (also known as a Vet!).

A Vet gets paid a lot!

But it does depend on what kind of animals they are treating or whether they are a patroling vet.

Nationally, the average starting salary for all recent graduates of veterinary school is $2,490/month. Wages vary by the type of practice which is what I was talking about before. Veterinarians who specialize in treating horses (neigh) have the lowest starting wage.

On average, they earn $2,290/month (which it sill quite a lot of money

Those who specialize in treating small animals, such as dogs and cats, start at an average of $2,580/month.

Veterinarians who treat only large animals, such as cows, earn the highest entry wage. They receive about $3,290/month.

The type of industry can also affect wages for veterinarians. Those who work for universities, often in research labs, earn the least. On average, their starting salary is $1,640/month.

Veterinarians who work for industry or commercial businesses earn the highest starting salaries. They generally start at $3,710/month.

Wages are higher for experienced veterinarians. The average salary for veterinarians in private practice is $4,790/month.

Most veterinarians diagnose animal health problems; vaccinate against diseases, such as distemper and rabies; medicate animals suffering from infections or illnesses; treat and dress wounds; set fractures; perform surgery; and advise owners about animal feeding, behavior, and breeding.

A vet needs

Patience, a good attitude and an animal lover!!

I rate this job 7/10
