Lydia Ko twelve year old golfer plays in the N.Z amatuer open

Lydia Ko is a twelve year old golfer that is already playing in the N.Z amatuer open. Lydia Ko first played in the New Zealand women's golf championships when she was seven. WOW!!!!

Lydia Ko had a tense semifinal against 20-year-old Tania Tare from the host club in the North island strokeplay championship in Muriwai. She won that.

" I think I played not that bad" Said Lydia. "But I'm getting tired after all this golf in the last week."

In the end of the N.Z amatuer open Lydia lost to Cecelia cho. Awwww. That's too bad! Gives me more time to improve and be in that aswell! Hopefully before I am thirteen!!!

Glitterfy.

Hi! Pinky here!

If you ever want to "bling" your words or find cool pics that have been glitterfied, type "glitterfy" into google.

Here are some examples of cool as blingified words.

So try it out!!!!!

The "swine flu" outbreak.

As basically EVERONE already knows, the "swine flu" is in New Zealand. It has come from the city of Mexico. In class, we wrote our own articles about the flu. I thought I would do the same thing here. Tell me what you think.

In the crowded city of Mexico, a virus know as "swine flu" has evolved. The flu is caused by pigs getting sick and passing the sickness down to us, humans. Unortunately, there is no cure so far for the "swine flu", and it would take a few months to find one.

The flu started in Mexico and there has been at least sixty eight people that have died there. In california there have at least seven cases of the flu. In texas at least two. And in New York there have also been at east two. There have been two possible cases in the Waikato, the two patients have been in New Zealand for two weeks now. Students from two colleges on Auckland's North Shore are still waiting for word on whether they have contracted swine flu after visiting Mexico where more than 100 people have died from the virus. A 25-member party from Rangitoto College and a group including 14 students from Northcote College returned from Mexico at the weekend, some of them with flu-like symptoms

Anyone who might have "swine flu" has been quarantined in thir hoses until further tests and information.

Today (Friday twenty fourth of April) I played in a kids tournament for hanicappers and non-handicappers.

There were LOADS of boys playing but only five girls! If you think thats bad I didn't even play with two of them because they were only playing nine holes insted of eighteen! I played with two other girls I didn't know their ages but they looked about thirteen and eleven years old. Turns out that the eleven year old was actually related to me in some way even though we had never met before! CHEESY MOMENT!!! Haa haa! It was a long eighteen holes but it didn't rain YAY!!! I had one really bad hole but the others were pretty good if I do say so myself! There were two prize givings one at about two O'clock for the nine holers. The Age Group Championships!!

Hi! Pinky here!

Today ( 17th of April 2009) I played in the Waikato age group championships for golf. My dad acted as my caddie! I didn't pay him though. Watching my success will be enough for him!!

I played a whole twenty seven holes! Which was a lot for me seeing as I have only just started playing seriously for six to seven monhts

I faced two other people, a thirteen year old and an eleven year old. the thirteen year old was on an eighteen handicap and the eleven year old was on a thirty three, I am on a thiry eight but I bet the eleven year old with the thirty three handicap! OH YEAH! hee hee!

I hope to lower my handicap down to about thirty in the next month! I just need to work on my chipping and putting so I can get a better score. My dad told me that if I get my putting and chipping good then I will improve by a lot, because thats what is letting me down. SO WISH ME LUCK!

I LOOOOOOOVE GOLF!!!!!! :)

My first serious tounament!!!!!

Hi! Pinky here!

On Sunday the twelth of April I entered in my first serious tournament! It was one of the "Booth Sheild" tournaments. They have about ten of them.

I played with my dad, and two other boys one had a twenty handicap and the other had a thirty six. We played eighteen holes. I got a bit tired after nine to ten holes and so my dad stopped and brought me a moro bar and a coke for us to share.

I felt way more energetic after that. I think I did very well in the first round of the "Booth Sheild" tournaments and I hope that I will continue on with my sucsess in the other "Booth Sheild" tournaments as well!

I AM A GOLFAHOLIC!!!! Hee hee!

Another job!

Hi! Pinky here!

This is my last job that I'm going to be studying

Today I am focusing on my favourite.

A PROFESSIONAL GOLFER (YAY!!!)

I want to be a professional golfer when I am older.
Or maybe now! You never know!

Anyway, A professoinal golfer has to be very hard working and has to practice, practice, practice!

A professoinal golfer gets to travel all over the world playing in golf tounaments.
If they win they get a large-than-usual portion of money! (YAY).
You could also get as famous as TW (Tiger Woods).

If you are a golfer you'll have to learn all of the tricks of the swing, stance, grip, and all of those other things that, If your not a golfer you probably will have no idea what some or ALL of them mean.
I think a golfer needs to have Patience, Commitment, goal orientated
AND LOVE THE SPORT (like I do!!)
I rate this job 10/10
YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!
Pinky rules!
